Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate? But HOW much water do we really need?
Does the “Drink 8 glasses of water a day” rule apply to everyone? I’m here to demystify this for us!

On these hot summer days you know that you need to be careful to get plenty of water. The best one is just a ‘reverse-osmosis’ water or some kind of purified water.
You do NOT need special, fancy water because it changes the alkaline the PH in your gut. Your stomach needs to be very acidic, so that it can kill the pathogens and the bacteria. That’s very important!
A good rule of thumb is to take your body weight and divide that by half and drink about that many ounces of water…it IS possible to drink too much water!
Now obviously, if you’re outside and you’re sweating a lot, drink a lot of water! Drink when you’re thirsty… but other than that, generally about half your body weight in that number of ounces.
(Example: 150 lbs divided by 2 = 75 ounces of water daily)
If you get too much (water) that can stress your kidneys and rob your body and wash out some of the minerals that you really need.
