Life After Quarantine – What’s Your New Normal?

 

Can you even remember what life was like before quarantine!? Seriously. 

​​With too much time on our hands, we can get bored, fearful, or stressed which leads to overeating. We’ve got to find new coping skills so we don’t emerge from this time with extra pounds and a body full of inflammation from wrong food choices.

For example, this is a great time to exercise, meditate or do projects around the house that you’ve been meaning to get to. You could catch up on reading, writing, explore an art medium, or just rest. Our society places so much emphasis on ‘doing’ that many of us are just exhausted! Just rest because things will get back to normal soon and then what?

​​Using this time to think about changes we’d like to make going forward is also good. What will your new normal look like? What parts of your life would you like to change for the better? We’ve got the time to reflect on these things now.
